(2023)As they get ready for the annual prom, a highschooler— assigned as female by birth—slowly falls into the realization that they do not fit to the gender they have been categorized to, and in fact find more relevance in being identified as a male. Under the pressure of not wanting to disappoint their best friend, and the fear of being outcasted by their school community, the teenager hesitates to commit to their true self and struggles deeply with their sense of unbelonging.
